Custom 3D Printing in Milton & the GTA
ATHERIS prints parts that are meant to be used: brackets that carry load, housings that see heat and sunlight, fixtures that sit on a workbench every day. We work from your files or design the part for you, and print a single piece or a repeat batch from our studio in Milton, Ontario.
FDM or resin: which one does your part need?
FDM (fused deposition modelling) builds a part from melted plastic, layer by layer. It is the right choice for most functional work: it is strong, handles larger sizes and supports durable materials like PETG and ASA. Layer lines are visible, but they can be oriented and finished around how the part will be used.
Resin printing cures liquid resin with light at very fine resolution. It gives crisp edges and smooth surfaces, which suits small detailed parts, display pieces, masters for moulding and anything where appearance at close range matters most. Resin parts are generally less impact-tolerant, so we only recommend them where detail is the priority.
If you are not sure, describe what the part does. We will recommend a process and explain why.
Materials
PETG is a tough, practical everyday material. ASA holds up better outdoors and in warmer environments, which makes it a common pick for automotive and exterior parts. Where a part needs more stiffness, fibre-reinforced filaments may be suitable. We also work with specialty materials when a project calls for them. Material is chosen around heat, load, chemicals, UV exposure and finish, not around what happens to be loaded in the printer.

Your files, or ours
Send an STL, STEP or other 3D file and we will review it for printability before quoting. No file? We can design the part from a sketch, photo, measurements or the original broken piece through our CAD design service. Whether you are across the street or across Canada, projects run smoothly by email and shipping, so you do not need to be local to work with us.
Frequently asked questions
Can you print from my existing file?
Yes. We check every file for wall thickness, orientation and fit before printing, and let you know if anything should change.
How big can you print?
We offer large-format printing, and parts bigger than a single build can be split and joined. Send your dimensions and we will confirm the best approach.
Are 3D printed parts strong enough to use?
Often, yes, when the material, orientation and wall design suit the job. We will tell you honestly if a different process, such as CNC machining, is a better fit.
Do you work with customers across Canada?
Absolutely. ATHERIS is based in Milton, Ontario, but we work with individuals and businesses across Canada, including Alberta. We regularly manufacture custom parts for customers outside our local area, with shipping available depending on the project. Local pickup and handoff can also be arranged.
