ATHERIS

Custom Automotive Parts & Components

Since 2019, a large share of our work has been for cars: specialty and modified vehicles, restorations and custom builds. When a part no longer exists, never existed, or has to fit something unusual, ATHERIS designs and makes it.

Who we work with

Automotive shops, performance and custom builders, restoration specialists and individual owners. Businesses come to us when they need a small number of parts that a catalogue cannot supply. Owners come to us when a trim clip, vent surround or bracket has been out of production for years.

Typical parts

  • Brackets and mounts for gauges, electronics, sensors and accessories
  • Interior and exterior trim pieces, bezels and covers
  • Housings, enclosures and ducting
  • Discontinued or hard-to-find replacement parts
  • Fitment prototypes before committing to metal or a larger run
  • Small batches of parts for shops and specialty businesses

From measurement to fitted part

We start from whatever you have: the original part, a broken piece, measurements, photos or a 3D scan of the mounting area. The part is modelled in CAD, a test version is made to check fit on the vehicle, and the design is adjusted before the final piece is produced.

Material is chosen around the location. A part near the engine bay or in direct sun needs different properties from an interior trim piece. Where a printed part is not the right answer, we will suggest machined or alternative options.

What we do not claim

We are not an OEM supplier and our parts do not carry automotive safety certifications. We do not make safety-critical components such as braking, steering or restraint parts. Fit is confirmed through test pieces rather than guaranteed in advance, which is why we prototype first.

Frequently asked questions

Can you recreate a part that is no longer made?

In many cases, yes. With the original, a broken piece or good measurements, we can model and reproduce it, then test the fit.

Do you need the car in the studio?

Usually not. Photos, measurements or the part itself are often enough. For complex fitment, scanning the mounting area may help.

Do you work with shops on repeat parts?

Yes. Once a design is proven, we keep the file and can produce the same part again on request.

Will the part be as strong as the original?

It depends on the part and material. We will explain the trade-offs and recommend a different process if printing is not suitable.
